MJRP YOUTH FEST & FOUNDATION DAY CELEBRATION

DATE: 9th – 11th October 2024
Venue: MJRP University Campus, SP 2, 3, Tala Mod, NH8 Delhi Road, Near Achrol, Jaipur. MJRP University is thrilled to announce its much-anticipated Youth Fest and Foundation Day Celebration from October 9th to 11th, 2024. This grand event brings together students, faculty, and alumni for three days of excitement, cultural exploration, and celebrations that showcase our rich heritage, vibrant talent, and shared community spirit.

Day 1: October 9th – Fresher’s Day: “Wink Your Wings”

The opening day is dedicated to welcoming the newest members of our MJRP family. The Fresher’s Day celebration, aptly titled “Wink Your Wings,” will feature our freshmen who will set the stage on fire! Watch as the freshest faces of our college take the ramp by storm in  the party.
Students are encouraged to spread their wings, step into the limelight, and exhibit their unique talents.

Event II- Farewell Ceremony 

We will bid adieu to our graduating students, honoring their contributions and wishing them the best for their future endeavors.

Event III: Musical Extravaganza – “Shaan-e-Mausiqi”

To cap off the day, MJRP will host “Shaan-e-Mausiqi,” a special musical celebration that is a 25-year-old tradition at the university. This prestigious event commemorates the outstanding contributions of eminent musical performers to society. The prestigious Shaan-e-Mausiqi Award will be presented to Muskaan Khan, a rising Bollywood playback singer and daughter of music director Sajid Khan. Muskaan, known for her debut song “Awara” from Dabangg 3, Not only will Muskaan receive the award, but she will also grace the stage with a mesmerizing performance, sure to captivate the audience with her soulful voice.

The evening will continue with a sensational musical performance by Ankush Bhardwaj, finalist of Indian Idol Season 10. His electrifying presence and powerful vocals are guaranteed to enthrall everyone and make the night truly unforgettable.

Day 2: October 10th – Inter-Departmental Competitions & Cultural Performances

Day two promises to be a vibrant celebration of creativity and competition as students from various departments come together to showcase their talents in dance and singing. The inter-departmental competitions will not only give students a platform to express their artistic prowess but also emphasize the importance of team spirit and active participation.

• Competitions:
  • Dance Competition: From classical to contemporary, students will exhibit a wide range of styles, energizing the atmosphere with their performances.
  • Singing Competition: Talented vocalists will take center stage, performing everything from soulful renditions to peppy, high-energy numbers.

Prizes:
Cash prizes and certificates will be awarded to the best performers, encouraging healthy competition and recognizing excellence.

These competitions are designed to build camaraderie, improve collaborative skills, and instill a sense of community among participants. Each department will cheer on their teams, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.

• Musical Soirée
  The day will conclude with an extraordinary musical performance by the Padma Shri awardees, the Hussain Brothers, renowned for their exceptional contribution to Indian classical music. Their mesmerizing performance will be a grand treat for all attendees, adding a classical touch to the celebration.

Day 3: October 11th – MJRP Talent Mania & Sufi Band Performance

The final day, MJRP Talent Mania, is all about providing a platform for every individual to showcase their unique talents across a wide range of activities. This fun-filled day will offer a diverse array of competitions, ensuring that there’s something for everyone.

  • AI & Innovation: Cutting-edge tech enthusiasts will get the chance to present innovative projects and ideas.
  • Fun with Food – Millet-based Cooking Competition: Celebrating health and tradition, participants will create delicious and nutritious dishes using millet.
  • Art and Photography: Talented photographers and artists will capture the world through their lens or brush.
  • Thought on the Spot/ Extempore: Testing participants’ spontaneity and communication skills in expressing their views on a given topic.
  • Rangoli: A colorful and vibrant rangoli competition, reflecting Indian tradition and design.
  • Skit/ Role Play: Students can display their acting prowess through dramatic or comedic performances.
  • Instrumental Performance: Musicians will shine as they perform using a variety of instruments.
  • Mimicry/Comedy: Get ready for some laughter as participants try their hand at impersonation and humor.
  • Face Painting: A creative outlet for artists to display their imagination.
  • Poster/Sketch Competition: Showcasing artistic talents in creating impactful visual art.
  • Best Out of Waste: Promoting sustainability and creativity through innovative projects using recycled materials.
  • Ad Mad Show: A platform for quirky and innovative ad presentations.
