Within our academic offerings, we provide a diverse range of programs, spanning from undergraduate to doctoral levels. These include the Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication (BJMC), Master of Journalism and Mass Communication (MJMC), Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), and various diploma programs.

We have Rajasthan’s one of the best and most advanced Hi-tech Media studios, which stands as one of the best in the state’s education system. Additionally, our department operates an in-house printing press, providing our students with multifaceted experiences, including interviewing celebrities and covering relevant events on professional sets.

We strongly emphasize the primacy of hands-on experiences, interdisciplinary learning, and training that aligns with the dynamic needs of the media industry. Our ultimate aim is to prepare students for flourishing careers in the ever-evolving and fast-paced world of media. 

History Of The Department

Established with a vision to bridge academic learning and industry requirements, the Department of Media and Communication started its journey in 2012. Over the years, we have continuously evolved our curriculum, methodologies, and industry collaborations to stay ahead in media education.

Over the years, the department has carved its niche in the academic landscape. We have consistently adapted to the evolving needs of the media industry, staying at the forefront of media education. This adaptability is a testament to our commitment to excellence.

We have consistently evolved our academic programs to align with industry trends and technological advancements. We have introduced modern curricula that encompass various aspects of media and mass communication, ensuring that our students are well-prepared for the challenges of the digital age.

We take immense pride in our technological initiatives. The establishment of a state-of-the-art Hi-tech Media studio marked a significant milestone in our history. This studio has become a hub for creative expression, enabling students to explore and experiment with cutting-edge media technologies.

In addition to traditional teaching methods, we have incorporated innovative learning experiences. Our in-house printing press provides students with practical exposure to print media and journalism while also opening the channels of interviewing and coverage of real-time significant events, enriching their real-world understanding of media operations.
